Auto-Ledger is a review-first private suggestion workflow. It does not scrape every community into your ledger, and a parser match is not a loan fact by itself. When the current pipeline finds eligible evidence, an operator reviews it, the system delivers a pending suggestion to the matched lender, and that lender decides whether it belongs in their private ledger.
Nothing writes a suggestion to your ledger without your explicit acceptance.
Turning it on
- Open Tools → Auto-Ledger and save the exact Reddit username you lend from.
- The first save records a forward-looking eligibility cutoff for that handle. Re-saving it does not move the cutoff.
- The handle becomes part of active collection only when the account is eligible for Auto-Ledger and the operator's collection/sync lanes are enabled and healthy.
One handle per account is the supported model today. Saving a handle also binds any operator-approved prospect suggestions that were already staged for that exact handle. Those suggestions are opportunistic evidence, not a complete historical import. Do not assume your back-catalog will appear.
Coverage today
| Community | Evidence coverage | Private Auto-Ledger suggestion coverage | Known boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| r/BorrowNew | Posts, retained comments, flair observations, and reconstructed lifecycle evidence. | Current launch path: a Prearranged Loan-flair post whose title matches the exact prearranged parser can enter local operator screening and then the private suggestion lane. | Other title shapes, body-only terms, ambiguous dates, collection outages, and disabled delivery lanes can leave gaps. |
| r/loanhelp_ | Request titles, retained comments, and flair journeys can contribute to the local graph. Fulfilled/Repaid flair evidence is community-specific. | The r/loanhelp_ → private suggestion expansion is not shipped. | Comments may omit roles or terms; a graph event is not an inbox promise. |
| r/borrow | LoansBot/redditloans is an authoritative source-ledger lane with retained Reddit evidence where available. | Source-ledger collection is not the same thing as current private suggestion delivery. | The source may retain creation-only active records or incomplete closing evidence. |
| r/SimpleLoans | The SimpleLoans source adapter retains authoritative source states when the source and sync are available. | Source-adapter coverage is not a guarantee that each state becomes a private suggestion. | Source availability, sync state, and missing fields remain explicit limitations. |
No community receives an accuracy guarantee. Each row above names a source boundary, and absence from one surface does not prove the real-world loan did or did not exist.
The current BorrowNew suggestion path
- A home-IP collector observes an r/BorrowNew post with the Prearranged Loan flair.
- The exact prearranged title parser produces a candidate.
- The candidate waits in the local Fulfillment screening queue.
- An operator approves it or corrects its lender, borrower, terms, currency, or due date.
- Enabled delivery lanes send the approved candidate to the target handle's private pending-suggestion store.
- The lender sees it under Detected loans in Tools or Inbox and chooses Add to ledger, Edit and add, or Dismiss.
Operator review is guaranteed only for suggestions traveling through this current screened path. Other graph/source observations use their own evidence and review rules; they are not all individually checked before being retained.
Your job: observe and fix
A pending suggestion can carry a borrower, principal, repayment total, due date, and source link when that evidence is available.
- Add to ledger accepts the suggestion and writes through the normal private-ledger path.
- Edit and add corrects the private entry before acceptance.
- Dismiss rejects the pending suggestion; the delivery upsert cannot silently return a decided suggestion to pending.
Your edits fix your private record. They do not rewrite the public Reddit source, establish a public Signal, or change Warden data.
Timing and missing suggestions
Auto-Ledger has no pickup or delivery-time guarantee. The current path depends on Reddit access, a home-IP collector, scheduled local processing, operator review, an outbound queue, production ingestion, and exact handle binding. Any unavailable or disabled stage can delay or prevent a suggestion.
If something does not appear:
- Compare the post with the verified posting formats.
- Confirm that your saved handle exactly matches the lending account.
- Keep the public post URL for support or operator review.
- Do not repost private payment identifiers, messages, screenshots, or contact information just to make the parser notice the loan.
A reviewed miss can become a detector candidate, but a parser change still needs its own evidence, holdout, tests, and approval. Reporting a miss does not automatically change the rule or rewrite history.
Separate systems and privacy
Auto-Ledger prepares private loan suggestions from permitted public evidence. A moderated Signal submission reports a warning for operator review. Warden is a restricted lender intelligence system. Activity in one does not automatically publish to or mutate either of the others.
NOTE
Auto-Ledger reads permitted public Reddit evidence. It never posts, comments, votes, or messages anyone, and it never writes a pending suggestion to your ledger without your explicit acceptance.
